Has anyone else shipped a wheel to Detwielers and have had it lost???? I've been dealing with them for 2 or 3 months on one they say they can't find. I called them every two weeks for 6 weeks straight and was told every time it would be ready by next friday. Finally I was told that they couldn't find it. Was just wondering if I was the only one. Thanks, Jerry

Well it figures! I've been wanting to post this for 2 months. One hour after I posted the comment, Detwielers called to say they found the wheel. It apparently was right in the middle of the shop floor, and is done. They also said it would be in the mail tomorrow! I might have my confidence in them back in a week or two. They do great work on the re-rimming jobs I've gotten back. They are just super busy. ALL the time. Thanks for your comments guys. Jerry

Detwilers is a great source for reproduced parts. They do some of their own manufacturing. They helped me with machining some LP pistons. The time frame was reasonable on my job. I haven't had need for their service on wheels. They are located in central Wisconsin. The have a web site and a catalog you can download. Link

Detwiler Tractor Parts Spencer, WI, 54479
715-659-4525 He specializes in 2 cyl. JDs
I used to drive by his place once a week when I lived in WI. He has a lot of parts tractors out back, and he is pretty free with information. I would not hesitate to do business with him
