John Deere 410C Shudder?

I have had this since new. In the past year it has developed a "shudder" when raising or lowering the bucket and a little with the backhoe. Last month I blew out the pump. I replaced with a rebuilt unit (must have gold in it for what it cost). When I fired up everything worked and worked well but within an hour or actual use the shudder has returned. Any ideas? I have a large farm and use this all the time. I am concerned the shudder problem led to the first pump failure, I do not want to replace another one.

take the suction screen out and clean it.follow the big suction line back to the transmission, take the elbow out of trans case, screen is behind there.most likely the shudder caused your fist pump to go out as a shudder normally indicates oil starvation.good luck

O.K. remove the suction line and found the screen. It is plastic and screen correct? Seems to be a tube. The problem is that it seems to be 8 or 10 inches long but I only have 6" of clearance before it hits the frame of the backhoe... Any suggestions? The part of it that I can see does not seem to be clogged or anything either.

I forgot to say it but yes I replaced filter and all oil in system. ***Note*** I went with an off brand oil instead of hyguard this time but the cans said "can be used in place of hyguard" Thanks in advance for all of your suggestions by the way,

Jessie
