Reader,
I have aquired one of these turbos through an overhaul company, can you tell me how much the turbo is worth, and also can you give me any information about the turbo? I just found this forum and this is the first time I have found anyone who knows about the turbo I have.

Any info helps!!

Thanks

Have a great day!

Sincerely, Darren Scott

Responder.

I was wodnering what the specs were on the turbo? I don't know anything about the T04 turbo. AirResearch T04 .60... Can you tell me anything about it? Can it be applied to other applications or other engines. What is the boost pressure and or the spool up rpm from the engine that the turbo came off of? I have not idea on any of these and any info helps.
Thanks and have a great day.

Hi, I am the person who posted the original question that Bob answered. You can get diffent turbo chargers for the 4320. The bad one which I took off my exhaust manifold was an AiResearch T04-B15. The reason I took it off was because the bearings were shot and it had terrible end play in the shaft. I purchased the whole manifold knowing the turbo was bad. Basically needed the manifold. Anyway, I took this bad turbo off and sold it for 90 dollars US on ebay. I was amazed. I purchased a new reman Schwitzer 3LM-279 to bolt back on. I payed 180 dollars for it on Ebay. It has worked great so far. Basically I have seen remans run from 375-550 dollars. I installed this kit on my "61 4010 along with a boost gage and a pyrometer. It will build 12lbs of boost with no problem. Works great!
