I wanted to put a new pair of Firestone Field and Road tires on my 730LP standard restoration. They should be the 18.4x30 size. It turns out that Firestone's mold is broke and they are not going to make them in that size anymore. I am just looking for any suggestions on alternatives.

Perhaps Firestone can get you these tires in the current Super All Traction II tire. This is a commonly used tire in many applications, especially on utility tractors. Many sizes (if not all) of the Field and Road tires have been discontinued. The last I knew only a select few of the smaller sizes were still being made, most likely due to Firestone not wanting to make another mold on a low production tire. Hope this helps. Mike

I would trying calling around to different local tire dealers. Make sure they deal with ag (since in my area most don't). I found Les Schwab has a fair selection. On you particular tire I don't know how many companies make them, but when I got 12.4x38 I had 4 or 5 companies to choose from. If that fails, hit the web and you can probably find them there. Try searhing rear tractor tires 18.4x38. I got a couple hundred results.
