I was wanting to see if anybody could advise me on the value of a good running John Deere 430 Crawler. I have been looking at a local one and really want to buy it but don't know what to offer the owner. I would appreciate any input. It starts and runs great, looks decent, and the blade works good. The 3 point is in good shape. I appreciate any help you all can give!

Well, the three point is worth at least $2,500, even if the tractor was a total wreck. The real issue with crawlers is the undercarriage, i.e. tracks sprockets, rolls, idlers, etc. That is where the big money is and if that is junk, plan on spending a ton of money to fix. Remember these were made to self-destruct, all metal to metal on the moving parts and running in the dirt.
