since everyone was very helpful with the information about the rims i needed i figured i would try this.

looking for a seat frame for my 1010. looking for the seat frame and seat sliders, or maybe if anyone knows if another type of seat and frame would mount up to the 1010.

i have one but it is pretty rusted, i figured i would try and buy another one in better shape if i could fit it for a reasonable price.
i tried the john dealer but they cannot get it.

i can post up a pic of what i have cause i know there we many differnet seat varations on the 1010.

Carl,
A friend of mine has restored a couple of 1010 Specials and may have a seat. Send me an e-mail with pic and your contact info.

Years ago We were looking to rebuild a seat on a 420S and were having a hard time finding parts. At that time we were told that the frame and sliders were the same on the 420's, 430's and 1010's. I think that we just rebuilt the seat that we had at that time, so I don't know if the interchange is a fact or not.

Hope this helps.

Bob
