Anyone have any photographs of either of these models? I can't recall ever seeing one. Thanks.

I saw this yesterday and have been looking for a answer. I didnt find what I was looking for but, I know I read somewhere that starting in 1969 there were no standard tractors as recorded at deere. You simply order the tractor you want and then order the special equipment to suit your needs as a standard tractor. So, there are certainly console tractors out there that are equiped as standard but in a technical sense there are no standard console 3020 or 4020's. bill

I haven't either but if you can't find anything on this site, you might try 4020.com. if you haven't already.

Well, that was a waste of time. A virtual treasue trove of misiniformation, including some boob who was so proud that he'd hacked up an orginal gasoline 4020 with PWFD to a turbocharged diesel. Not much there if you're looking for facts. They've copied a lot of information from other sources, and managed to get a lot of it wrong.

And now he has twice the tractor that he had with the gas engine! and worth more money as far as a tractor to use everyday!

Yes, and if it had the originalgasoline engine, he would have something far more valuable than his turbocharged toy. Anybody can butcher up something as he has done. There's no shortage of diesel tractors he could purchase to use every day. More than likely, he's one of the sort that's proud that he butchered up an original tractor.
