Have some questions on a 2010 3 point. 3point will not lower. Have the John Deere factory repair manual for the tractor, however do not have an operators manual. 3 point on this tractor is different than most as it has two lift pistons and as I understand it the 3 point can be set to lift arms seperatley or it can be set to paralell where both lift pistons lift and then you put a pin in the one lift arm so they are tied together. But I sure wish I had an operators manual to read the instructions as to how to set and operate the controls. Also is it possible that on this tractor that the engine has to be running to enable the three point to lower? Anyone have instructions for three point operation?

Thanks

I recently repaired one of these.

The I&T shop manual tells where the various controls must be set if the two lifts are locked together, and operated as one. (Yeah, I know, that's surprising!)

I am a day away from my manual right now, but can get that info for you later, if no one else helps you first.

The engine does NOT have to be running for the lift to be lowered.
