I am looking for a right side rear shield for my 2510 deere..The one that covers the starter..
Ebay is just crazy...Last one I saw went for $254.00
I would buy one for a more reasonable price... or If I could find someone local to me that has one.. I could make one using theirs as a pattern..Would be willing to pay someone just to borrow...
I live just in the outskirts of Memphis TN...Thanks

I ended up buying a set of aftermarket shields for, if I remember right, $320. I checked the normal places for used ones and I think the worst was one place asked $800 for a used original set. What I saw on e-bay has been even worse than the one you mention. Good luck but if you cant find anyone that has one you can use one for a pattern the aftermarkets ones are very nice. bill

Where did you find your aftermarket shields??
I looked everywhere and could not find them....

There was a guy advertising aftermarket ones in the Green Magazine or Two-Cylinder classifieds (maybe both places) recently - check out the past few issues.
