My 2510 has 13.6X38"s from the factory..
One rear is weather checked pretty bad..
I want to get matching rears....Could I put 15.5's on the same rims ..?
I like the look of the 15.5's better...

John, to add to what the other posters said, an option for you might be Firestone"s Super All Traction II tire. I saw these tires on a tractor at a show last summer. They were 15.5"s but were dimensionally exactly like a 14.9. The tread width and sidewall height was the same (or very near) what a 14.9 tire has always been. They were a very nice looking tire and work very well. I have no connection to Firestone but I liked the looks of these tires. My guess is that Firestone is trying to make one tire fit two applications here. Mike

If your rims are 12" I would look for a new set of 14.9 38"s. They were made for the 12 inch rim but they are a taller tire than the 13.6. They have more ground contact area than the 15.5"s. I have put 15.5"s on 12 inch rims and they worked ok but they crown the tire in the middle.

15.5's are almost the same height of the 13.6's, but 2 inches wider. You can run 15.5's on 12 inch rims but they will be 1 3/4 inches hanging out over the rim both sides. I prefer to run 14 inch rims.
