No one said whether this number was for Gs total or just the unstyled ones, which is what I wanted to know, How many UNSTYLED Gs were made from 1933 to 1938

1938-1939 serial numbers 1000-4250 were unstyled low radiator Gs

1939-1941 serial numbers 4251-12192 were unstyled large radiator Gs
production was 10700

I am sure raddlechain has the correct numbers, the Two Cylinder Club has a production log that you can buy for the waterloo factory.

The first Model "G" was built on May 10, 1937, and the last one was assembled on December 22, 1941. Beginning serial number was 1000, ending serial number was 12192. Some blocks of serial numbers were scrapped for a variety of purposes, but according to the Waterloo Production Log, 10,686 UNSTYLED Model "G" Tractors were built, give or take a couple, my arithmetic isn't just the best.

Does that reign true for all the lettered series tractors, there is no definite amount produced ? The blocks of s.ns or scraped numbers are never shown ?

Blocks of serial numbers or occasional serial numbers were scrapped, for reasons known only to Deere. Almost all models of the lettered and numbered series tractors had some serial numbers scrapped at one time or another, although like with anything else, there are some exceptions. If you wish to calculate the total number of any model of two-cylinder tractors built, your best source is the Waterloo Production Log, available from the Two-Cylinder Club.

Farmallb -- you are confused if you think the Model G went styled in 1939. That tractor remained unstyled in 1939, 1940 and 1941. In other words, the tractor went styled with the start of 1942 production, at G13000. Now, with that in mind -- your question is - - - ? (PatB)

2 people posted that there was about 11000 made. Your title posted, unstyled. And people responded to you the total of the unstyled. What more do you want????

I'll try to help here. The G came out first for the 1937 model year, not 1933. Not accounting for scrapped tractors, serial numbers not used, etc., the 1937-'38 production was 6,099, at least according to the serial numbers of record.

The G was produced as an unstyled model through the 1942 model year, with a total production of 11,192, again not taking into account scrapped, serial numbers not used, etc.

The styled version, the GM, came out in 1943 and started with serial number 13000.

These numbers may not be perfect, but they are a good approximation.
