Friend of mine sent this to me. Deere must have fired all the old Marketing/advertising folks. Very "unDeerelike" ad. Way cool.

I bid it could clean up at Bristol this weekend.

With a laser controlled blade the airport runways would always be clear of snow.

Neat.

Looks like it does good on loose dry piles of dirt. Wonder how it will work in the REAL world ?with hard packed dirt ,clay, rock, mud ?

Same folks (Camoplast) make the actual rubber tracks, but the track frame is very different. We started with the track frame similar to the Quadtrack made by Camoplast, but the adjustment procedure was lacking precision to say the least.

I think you would be impressed with its performance in compacted soil. It is very similar to a 700J in push power, but it can do more work because of its ability to reverse very quickly.

I was involved in the testing of the 764HSD. It was called "The Bison" until about four months ago when the marketing department wanted to give it a model designation.

I had no idea it was being released for production. It must have come a long way in the last two months if it is ready for release now!

It was neat to see the footage of the machine in action in places I recognized. It looks like most of the footage was filmed at the test site in Laredo. The highway footage was on the I35 access road at the Camino Columbia bridge at MM24 of I35 in Encinal, TX.

Now don't we all need one of those? I wouldn't mind having one.
