Does anyone know where I can get my brake drums turned for an unstyled A and B? My local guy here says he can't because of the shaft that's riveted onto the drum. He said we could cut those off and then he could but I really don't want to do that because I don't know where I could get more rivets that would look correct like the originals. Thanks for any help.

If your drums are tight to the shafts DO NOT remove them !!!!! If they are loose you can pound them tighter , but if really loose you will need to go oversized.

I have turned them before in an ordinary lathe chuck the end of the shaft and use a live center in the drum end that is center drilled you have enough length on that shaft to work in the middle.

Find someone with a good turning lathe and turn them with the shaft. Then you will know for sure that they are centered.

I think John Deere still sells the rivets.

Thanks for the response Kurt. I'm wondering though would you need a special tool to put these rivets on with and also how much they would cost?
