I told you guy's I would have a lot of ?'s. I don't even have it home yet and have two.

#1 Do the 45 electric start A's have a flywheel cover? I don't have the tractor here yet so I don't know if it has bolt holes or not. It don't have a cover.

#2 It is an Allfuel tractor and I have never delt with one of these. I don't plan on running on anything but gas so do I just put gas in the big tank and go Putt Putt or what?

Is the band that covers the gear teeth hard to find? I don't like the idea of the flywheel turning with them starter teeth just waiting to eat me.

They can be found. They also are being reproduced. If I remember correctly Detwilers had them listed.

No cover just a band over the ring gear. When we were using these the small tank was used for a reserve to save a long and embarassing walk from the far end of the field.

As to your questions # 1 not a cover as such but it should have a band that covers the ring gear on the flywheel to keep fingers clothes and lots of other things out of harms way. # 2 you can put gasoline in both tanks and use the small one like the reserve on a motorcycle. P.S. I grew up on a 1945 A and my grown son has it now.

While it doesn't have a cover, it does have a guard which covers the exposed starter ring gear.
