D-R 1102102 gen 25amps, 14 volts at 1970 shaft rpms. A 25 amp gen from a 6V diesel with a 12V reg works fine too.
D-R 1118955 reg
D-R 1108656 starter

Can't believe I'm saying this. The 435/440 is the one application where the entire system is well hidden under the hood.A person could make a pretty good case for a three wire s-10 alternator conversion. Tie the exciter wire to the oil pressure switch's feed to the dash instruments. Run a 2/00 chassis return cable direct from the battery to a starter mounting stud. Amazing difference in cranking speed. Have a group 31 battery in mine. Freezing weather starts in 2-3 rotations of the engine.

Already have an alternator, want to put a correct generator under there. We restore back to original. Thank you so much for your reply.
Appreciated-Jen
