Mike,

I was so focused as to what (tractor) they fit ...I forgot the other use's they had for the weights. I think you're onto something.
Thanks, Rich

M 1168 T is the number for the front weight used on the model "M" series tractor. I think it could also be used on some model 40's. Try and get a back issue of Two-Cylinder Magazine March/April 2006. It has wheel weights listed in it.

Where did you come up with those numbers? I have a pretty complete listing for the weights and the only one I could find was the M1168T which as jd51mt said fits the M series and the 40 T.

MSD,

The numbers came from JD wheel weights that I found. All JD weights. All weights are smaller than weights for the G"s thru the 730.

The H78062 are two piece weights.

My JD (M) parts catalog shows M168T for the front wheel...is M1168T a varition of the M168T ..?

Thanks, Rich

LittleD, without looking at a parts book, the weights with the "H" prefix are probably combine rear wheel weights. The "H" prefix normally is a Harvester part or was first used there. Hope this helps. Mike

Didn't they have some for disk plows also that were two piece? I too was just thinking tractor weights.

Ive never seen a two piece, but I have seen a single piece weight on disc plows as well as pie weights.
