Hi,
We have a 37 unstyled B, serial # 45221. Can someone tell me how to adjust the oil pressure. I don't have access to the tractor right now because it is another part of the state. I read somewhere that some of the later B's need to have a crankcase cover removed to adjust the pressure. Where is the crankcase cover located to do this?
Thanks

John - on my '36 B, the oil pressure adjustment is on the front of the governor just under where the fan shaft connects. It is a long "nut" with a smaller nut behind it - if I recall the adjustments I made to it, I had to loosen the larger nut then the smaller, make the adjustments and tighten everything (I did force things the first time and had to replace the bolt...take it easy with it). I also have a '44 that has the "in the crankcase" adjustment - the crankcase cover is on the top of the main case (between the flywheel and pulley), but I'd assume your unstyled B is more like mine.
