My mower keeps cutting out while I am mowing, it first started as once in a great while, now it is happening on a regular basis. On occasion while mowing, the motor along with the mower will stop, sometimes the motor will shut down and come back to life before stopping completely, and this is happening on a regular basis also. Are these symptoms connected, and where should I start investigating. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the seat switch and the brake pedal switch. You may try bypassing it temperary for a test. I have also seen posts about a time delay module going bad as it controls all those saftey switches.

Where is the delay module located? Is that the module by the key switch? I guess I should have payed closer attention to the previous 445 posts, but when they posted mine was running just fine.

I don't know offhand ? A factory service manual is a MUST have for these as they are made just like cars are today, alot of electronics and specific tests to be made. And parts aren't cheap or returnable.
