I'll be off work the next few days and plan to get as far as I can on the model A, Last week I took the hood, and grill off and soaked it with oven cleaner and washed it a couple times.
here is my list so far for this week;
Get Phosphoric Plus Prep & Etch and curve tape from Home Depot
Get PPG paint and primer and stuff from Alabama Automotive Finishes
Get all fluids

Completely service tractor, all fluids

Rebuild carb
Adjust valve tappets
Fix air intake
Steel brush, sand and prep and fix dents and wire in front grill
Treat with Phosphoric Plus Prep & Etch
Clean some more
Prime
Go get second A and 60 and bring them home while primer is drying if time allows.
Sand primer

Paint

Is there anything I’m forgetting about or anything else I should add to the process?

Well I got the paint today, it was $508 just for the green and primer and stuff!

I got about 3 hours on the tractor today, got all of the fluids drained, I also noticed a few more problems, looks like my list is growing along with costs. Maybe my plan for the week is a little too ambitious.

PPG Paint list;
1-JP202G primer surfacer

1-JH301-Q fast primer hardener
2-JP375Q epoxy primer gray

2-JH3770P epoxy primer hardener
1-MBCB-G Mixed color MBC-41374(B)
1-JR506-G Medium reducer
1-MX190G Cleaner
1-JC661G Hi-gloss multi-panel clear
2-JH6690Q Slow top coat hardener

Sounds like a good plan to me. Even of you should forget something, you will still be able to keep busy. I can see it has all the tires up and that's a great start!! I also see your very prepared for the " kitchen noise" you may incounter, Nice "dog houses" in background. I'd put the steering wheel on tho. that will give you a better sense of direction. LOL Seriously want to see it when finished. I love the sound of the put-put's and they're getting scarce.---GOOD LUCK.!!!
