Check out the 48 A on ebay for auction, bids a thousand and it is in ND. Something about the pics bother me but I can't figure out what. Anyone see something wrong w/ tractor? Mike

It's a slant dash A early styled could be any seat Farmall or Case don't know why the battery is on the frame belongs behind the tank . Us farmers can get pretty creative when jury rigging stuff to work. I have done it myself. I'd call this one quite a cobble job.

Looks like a pre-1947 A to me. The seat looks like it came off of a Farmall, but the platform looks like early styled A. Also, the late styled A's had a pressed steel frame, and the alleged 1948 A in the picture has the angle iron frame of the early styled A's.

I have a 48 A and it does not look like this one!! BTW $1000 may be a little high for that particular A. I got mine in good shape, all original for $1000 two years ago. Needed tires and paint but not much else.
