I have a late model AN that has a 16in. wheel in front and 42in. rims in the rear. All others I have seen have a smaller wheel in the front an 38in rims in the rear. Might this be some kind of attempt at a high crop? Maybe an ANH. And would this make this tractor any more valuable?

JD stopped adding the H destination on the end when they started with the pressed frame A's and B's. Yes, it would be a high clearance tractor with the the 42" rears and 16" front. But they're called AN whether it has 38" or 42" rears. Value wise, it adds a little to the value of the tractor. I have a 1952 AN with 42" rears and 16" front and a 1952 BN with 38" rears and 10" fronts. All are gasoline burners.
