Harv,Gman is right, you need to get a subscription to Green Magazine. It gives me an incintive to get to work on mine.I see all those nice JD's and got to get mine looking that good.It will hook you,it did me.I restored my first tractor about two years ago(a WD Allis Chalmers)and I liked it so much I had to do it again. So one G and one 70 later I am looking for yet another project restoration.Good luck to you and enjoy this wonderful hobby.BigJ.

Harv go to John Deere or here on line and purchase you a parts manuel, and an IT manuel then dive in,once you get wet it isn't bad. Harv patience goes along way in restoration, get in a hurry and you will foul up every time. A subscription to Green Magazine would be a big help they can be located here on line also,I wouldn't attempt a restoration without Green Magazine. If I can be of any assistance you got my email address.
