did john deere ever make an all fuel late A. I am talking about the A's with the pressed steel front frame. I have located one but don't know if it is original. it has the all fuel manifold, two gas tanks and it is a late A built in 1950 i think. how many were made? any help would be greatly apriteated.

They also made late "A's" with two tanks but they were gasoline only. Always check the carb. and manifold. Serial number range of 655572-666728 had an extra tank that were gas burner's. Farmer's wanted an extra fuel to get them thru the day. 1947 thru 1952 they produced 16,015 regular model "A" all-fuel tractors. AH, AN, AW is a whole different story.

I have a 1950 A all fuel, six speed .so I know they made them . Mine has had the manifold replaced. All fuel manifolds have not been availible from deere for many years. My 51 gas A has a bigger fuel tank than the all fuel.
