This is a 1963 2010. It has new coil, points and condenser. One day it will run great all day, some days it quits running. It is in the voltage. when it stops, I can run 12 volts directly to the coil, the tractor runs great. It also has a new switch, and I purchased the manuel to check the wiring, it looks good. What could the problem be.

The 2010 has a emergency kill switch either directly tied to 12v or as mine is setup, switched through the ignition switch, if your's is like mine was when I first got it, the harness was full of crimp connections and had been rewired at least once, I'd consider soldering and heat shrinking everything, especially the ignition circuit, also when it wont start chase the 12v signal back toward the ignition switch to determine where you've lost voltage.

I'm no tractor machanic but I had a similar problem with my 2010. My problem was the voltage regulator. The tractor is set up on a 6 volt system. Jump starting the tractor with a 12 volt battery can cause the voltage regulator to go out. I installed a new voltage regulator and switched over to a 12 volt system and haven't had any more problems.
