My 52 M left front tire appears to be leaning in more at the bottom than the right front tire. It causes the outside of the tire to wear quicker. Is this correct. If so why?

Jeff, sorry to be so slow getting on here, but when the top of the wheel is out further than the bottom, that's called positive camber, and a little is a good thing on a car, a little more is good on a tractor with the type of axle on an M. There is no doubt a spec for this camber somewhere, but it would be best to check some at a show for angle to determine which one is out and by how much. I know my M has quite a bit of positive camber, but I've never put a gauge on it. If there is a garage around with some old equipment, they might have a camber gauge for cars that will work on the M, as they are magnetic and go on the axle with the dust cap removed. You of course will need to have the tractor on a level surface to check it with any hope of accuracy. Anyone have an M and either the camber spec or a gauge ??

Jeff, it deprends on how much it is leaning, they do lean in a (little). But they should be the same on each side. Try to find a different M & look at it for comparison. You might have a bent spindle or knee on that side. It could have worn bushings or wheel bearings on the right side so that side doesn't lean as much also.
