How do i get the pin out of the swiverl part of thefront end. Do I have to take the front mount off the front off engine

Jim, you didn't say if it is a W, S, U or hi-crop. It doesn't make a whole lot of difference though, there is a set screw with a jamb nut on the bottom of the front end support that has to come out, then either pull the oil pan or make up a bent rod that just goes under the oil pan & will contact the rear or the pin, then with the front end slightly off the ground drive the pin out the front.
