Can the one peice cylinder sleeve be bored/honed out, or do other problems occur? What's a descent price for a sleeve kit (1 pc) cost?

Mark, As Tom says, the sleeve plate can be rebored, the problem tends to be electrolisys of the external surfaces can yeild holes of at least 100 thou. If you rebore 30 thou, it doesnt leave a lot of sleeve wall. The sleve must be rebored in a block of some sort (probably your own). The way the sleeve is made with the individual sleeves welded to the deck plate makes it very suceptible to distortion. If there is any distortion, you wont be able to get it back in the block (its a VERY tight fit). It may be better to purchase the O-rings, remove the block, put the o-rings in, then have the sleeves bored in the block, and never take it out of the block again. The plate can be hard to remove as well.

cheers, Jim.

Yes the sleeve can be bored and honed. The man who does my machine work has an old block that he's had for 20+ years that he installs the sleeve plate in as a jig to hold it while boring.
Also, a new sleeve plate goes for $450. !
I had to buy a new sleeve plate as mine's a LPG that has domed pistons and they are NOT available anymore in an oversize configuration.
