What John Deere motor has a firing order of 1 2 3 4???

I believe that The Stranger is demonstrating what my dad used to refer to as a "DRY" sense of humor. Not often seen these days.

Such a firing order is nearly impossible with an inline 4 cylinder engine--but with a V-4, such as the one used on John Deere 2-cylinder diesel tractors, the 1-2-3-4 firing order works quite well.

I don't think any engine with 4 cyls.have 1234 firing order 1432--1324-1423 would make more sense.
