A general question....were the 2520's basically a good tractor? I am looking at one and it looks like a handy little cuss. Any bad experiences would be appreciated.

buy it! like i've said before we have a 2520 with well over 9000 hrs on it we use it to pull around a feed wagon its never had an overhaul.
we're in the process of rebuilding the 3020 right now. it wont start unless its abouve 70 wich its not. im also looking for a new carb for it to.

"Basically good", and then some. No real problems, one of Deere's best, in my opinion. Much rather have a 2520 than a 3020---smoother, peppier, will start when a 3020 won't even think about it. You can't go far wrong.
