I got some great help last month in determining if my fuel guage or sending unit were bad. I have now replaced the sending unit, but guage reads full at all times--the same as when it is directly grounded. I tried both sending units that Deere makes for this tractor with the same results. Could I also have a bad guage or some other problem?

with the key on and the sending unit wire disconnected, you should have 12volt power to one of the guage terminals and a slight amount of power on the other terminal.if power is not going thru the guage then it is no good.if this is a diesel it has to be negative grounded power
