My 1950 B has what appears to be an aftermarket 3-point. In addition, it has what appears to be (two) hook ups for running additional hydraulic lines off from the rear center, near the hydraulics for the main lift.

Can someone explain what this is and how it would be used? Is it a stock item or does it sound like some aftermarket rigging? Also, did any of the B's come with 3-point from the factory?

I am guessing you must have a Pow-R-Trol Hydraulic setup not just the lift. First of all no B ever came from the factory with a 3 point however you could buy a kit to convert it in later years. As far as the hydraulic ports go there were ports which you could use on the Pow-R-Trol setups. You had to buy the connections from john deere. These are use to control hydraulics (usually a cylinder) on say a transport disc or a mower. The only drawback is that the remotes and the lift arms can not be activated separately. IF instead you B has a Pow-R-Lift these did not have ports as an option and someone cobbed them on somehow.

No B's ever came with a 3-point setup. I believe in order for you to use the 3-point you need to get dummy plugs or caps in the current hydraulic holes so it will redirect the Hydraulic fluid to the rock shafts. Sounds like you have the plugs in that will work with a hydraulic implement. My 2cents and hopefully someone else will clarify.
