Does anyone know where I can buy a Plate to mount a electric starter on a JD 730 that is missing the pony start motor. I saw one that had a nice manufactured plate but could not get up with the owner to find where he got it. I would think there are conversion kits available from someone.
Thanks
Jim South

i had a 820 with a bad pony motor.. we chaged it our self to electric start.. just get a torch and cut out of plate steel to fit 12 volt diesel truck started. we mounted it and worked fine.. we still had to use the pony engage lever to engage starter drive but was only about 35.00 with junk yard parts and steel and a torch..
