After I get my oil filter into the spot where it goes, how do I get the oil filter cup thing that covers up the bottom of it to bolt on and tighten up? I know it has a spring loaded thing in it but the bolt just keeps turning without tightening it up.Any help would be appreciated- Thanks guys Ross

It takes a little effort to locate the end of the bolt in the female threads at the top. Install the gasket, then let the filter/cup assembly rest against the bolt head while you start the bolt in the threads. It will start threading while there's still a gap at the cup's gasket.
