I don't know much about balers, but I have the chance to get 14 T baler for free if i want it, or it will be scraped, i have only seen pictures of it, seems rusty and some parts like some sheet metal is banged up. its only a mile down the road, would it be worth trying to get going or just let the scrap man get it? I was told it was oiled a lot while sitting but how true that is I don't know. He wanted to give it to our club but they decided we had a enough junk with out adding to it. Any suggestions?

I have a 14T that I used the last 2 weekends to bale with. If you get the knotters set right they are a great baler. The operators manual is really great in setting the knotters correctly. Good luck.

I would try & get the bailer & store it or fix it up if you have the room. There will always be some one looking for parts or maybe you could use it to bail whith. You can always scrap it.
