To put twelve spleen axles in a 10 spleen housing is not to easy. The twelve spleen axle uses a different and larger bearing requiring a different outer bearing race requiring a larger bore in axle housing. So what I am saying is, if that is what you want to do it will require machine work to make it happen. I have put later axle housing on the older cases on pulling tractors. The 1946 and older housings with twelve spleen axles and bull gears will bolt to the old unstyled cases and work fine. Your tractor won't be original but it wouldn't be anyway with a twelve spleen axle. The bull gears on the twelve spleen axles are also different. The outer diameter and tooth count of the bull gears are the same as the old unstyled gears. I guess it is your tractor and decision to do what you want. It can be done but the most economical and easiest way to do it is switch the whole rear axle housing with the later parts in it. Good Luck Dave W.
