Alan, did it re-start after sitting for a while? Does it run now or still won't run? Were you just idling along when it quit?

It would start but couldnt keep it running pulled the card off today and have it soaking in chem tool but I couldnt understand why the pipe going into the block was getting cold when the tractor was running at 140 degrees.

frosting effect on the carburator is caused by high pressure effect of the air moving through the carburator, much similar to releasing an spray can. The air speed is increased by the smaller size of the throat in the carb and in turn will suck the fuel from the bowl. You need to completely clean the carburator, clean out all the passages, pull the main jet, etc.

you have two possibilities. Trash, settlement is stopping up your fuel flow or the low side of the carburator is stopping up. I'd go with cleaning the settlement bulb and carb filter. Other than that do a carb tear down and rebuild.
