If you like the chrome pipe, put it on! It's your
tractor!!! If you want the sound put on a straight
pipe and paint it high temp. black. It will look
pretty darn close to the regular muffler. Unless
your going to plowing all day it won't get that
hot anyway.

I have a solution for you: 1. Send that ugly-@ss chrome stack back and get your money back. 2. Purchase a good quality muffler instead. 3. Paint with VHT or similar high-temperature paint. 4. Install on your tractor. Benefits? Your tractor will look better, you won't look like an idiot, you'll have money in your pocket, and you won't lose any sleep wondering about the chrome discoloring and flaking!

What kind of people are you. Can you not write a post with out calling someone a name. I just realy do not understand how someone can always spout off and start calling someone else names for no reason. If I could find you I would love to come kick your *&&^%* and teach you some manners.

I've seen plenty of idiots on tractors with good quality mufflers.

Heat from the exhaust will make the chrome peel. If you must have the shine invest in a peice of good quality stainless steel. It may turn blue but it still beats the rust after the chrome peels plus it does look good when it's blue and you can also polish that back out.

If you keep it cool it won't turn blue or peel, so when you run it wrap it in ice packs or you could have 2, one for when you run it and one for when you want to stand and admire how pretty it is.

If it is doubled walled it will not turn blue or peel.

The exhaust pipe is inside the chrome stack.
