My neighbor has invited me over to help him troubleshoot his hydraulics. He seems to think I might know more about them than he does, which, while possible, ain't sayin' much. From what he described to me at work yesterday: He was running his bush hog. The hydraulics, on which he has recently had a lot of work done, were working fine until he got the tractor stuck. By the time he got it out the hydraulics didn't work anymore. When he pulls back the lever nothing happens, but if he lifts the 3-point by hand and then pulls up the lever they will stay in position; they will go down in response to moving the lever part or all the way down. He has a service manual that we can look in when I get over there, so maybe we can at least locate the parts, but any hints, suggestions or speculation about what we should be looking for would be a help.
Thanks, Wm
