Try Bill lopoulos (magnetoparts.com) I have had JD's with this style Mag before. Check the model on the magneto itself before going to that website. It should should be a American Bosch MRD rotary mag. Points, condensor, and coil should be available.

Kyle, the "American Bosch" was an aftermarket replacement mag sold through parts stores & over the counter from some Deere dealers. John R. Brillman (610-252-9828) has a limited number of parts for the Am. Bosch mags. You might also try Magneeders (417-358-7863)

Hi from Aroostook County, Maine. I've been repairing all brands of mags for years now and my father before me. I always found B&D Auto Electric in Boston Mass. a great place for parts.
