I bought a 60 that has an alternator and negative ground but half of the wires are gone. If anyone could provide me with a wiring diagram for this setup I would appreciate it. I can not afford to buy the manual quite yet. Thanks

Brian, there is no factory wire diagram for a 60 with an alternator, they came with generators & positive ground. What type of 60 & s/n do you have? What wires are gone? What brand & type of alternator is on it & how many wires are going to the alternator?

Clooney, I have a row crop model, s/n 6061432. I am aware that it did not come from the factory with an alternator and negative ground but I would like to see if I can make it work this way before I change anything. It has a delco 3 wire alternator. Specifcally I need to know where the wire coming from the starter switch connects. I assume it connects to the ammeter, and also where the 2 wires coming from the alternator connect.

Clooney, I did not get your e-mail. I mistakenly typed in the wrong e-mail address on my second post. It should be bk3020@hotmail.com. If you could resend it I would appreciate it, and thank you for your help here and on other questions. I have a lot of my questions answered by you just from reading other posts. Your expertise is invaluble. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
