You probably checked this, but just in case, did you check the tappet clearances? The lag on the mag is the most likely thing. You should not change that unless you are using a mag from a different model or year tractor. When a Two Banger doesan't run right for me, I always check the things I changed first, because it is usually my tnkering that makes it not want to work right.

~36A, don't worry about those dots, with the LH piston at TDC (lh impulse on the flywheel aligned with the mark on the case (3 o'clock behind flywheel) the flange on the R/H side of the governor that drives the mag should have the slots running parallel with the ground (running fore/aft. ~Where did the mag fire when you checked the spark at the l/h plug while turning the flywheel? The mag MUST fire the l/H plug when the flywheel "LH impulse" is lined up with the case mark. Once the L/H spark is timed to the LH impulse mark try pull starting it.

Yes my drive was parallel with ground.I had mag fireing a tad before cover.Only thing i changed was on the back of mag i loosened 4 screws and moved lug angle or trip so i could achive movement to get my flywheel to adj.on cover. As far as pulling i cant with on rear flat and snow, low gears i dought it will work.

~36A, you shouldn't move the lag angle ring on the back of the mag as that changes the running timing. ~What model mag do you have & I will tell you where it belongs?

~36A, for the Wico mag, set the impulse stop ring to have the witness mark on the stop ring 3-1/2 graduations left of the center mark, that will give you 30* running timing.(center is 12-1/2*)
~If you can't get the LH impulse on the flywheel to line up with the case mark when the mag snaps you will have to lift the governor & re-align the governor to cam gear so it will.
