Looking for 1952 JD A in Pueblo West in CO. It was purchased from a farmer in Ordway CO. This farmer purchased it in 1983 at my fathers farm auction. My father bought it from original owner at his farm auction.Any information is appreciated.

Sir, I wish you luck in finding this tractor. It's going to be tough without knowing the serial number. If, by chance you do find it, would you please let us all know? I love to hear stories of lost iron coming home. When I was growing up in northeast PA (where I still live) my dad had two JD B's, an early unstyled with rear spokes and solid front rims (all on rubber), and another one that was probably about a 47. Dad restored the styled B in the early 70's, then sold it a couple years later and bought the unstyled - which I remember the best. Sometime in the late 70's early 80's maybe, he sold the unstyled and bought a Farmall Super C to restore (I know....) Sadly, my dad passed away two years ago of cancer and I would give anything to be able to find either of those John Deeres now! It's amazing how sentimental things can become - things that never excited you much before! I am currently restoring a 53 model 50 in my basement, partially because it brings back memories of good days gone by! I am sure dad would have loved to taken it for a spin.....one thing is for sure, his grandkids will certainly get plenty of rides! :) I certainly wish you all the luck in finding your lost treasure! Maybe some day I will get lucky and bring one of my dads old deere's home!
