Tractor grave yards are like old hardware stores. They're worth the trip even if you don't buy nothing. Kind of like a good book, worth visiting over and over.

I would call first to see if they have what you need. I've visited the Salvage yard in Conway and had a really good experience with those folks. Is it worth going to?? You bet it is!! We rode through acres and acres of tractors they have and it was an experience in itself. I found what I was after and then some.

I agree with Clooney also and I would like to add that I just ordered some parts from Detwiler Tractor Sales in Spencer Wis. I dropped a money order in the mail on monday and my parts were here on friday these people are excellent to do business with and their prices are very reasonable I would recommend to anybody to give them a try their phone no. is 715-659-4252

I agree with BJ. I've dealt with Detwilers for
several years and they've done really good by me.
They visit a lot of shows and are willing to bring
something along and deliver it at that show.
Saves a heck of a lot on shipping if you can wait
for a while. Miller Tire does that , too. pb

Cloony says it best as usual. I did stop in this place on a recent trip to Branson, they have quite a few acres of parts tractors and chances are they will have what you want. Nothing ventured , nothing gained.

~Joe, I haven't ever dealt with "2 CYLINDER PLUS TRACTOR SALVAGE", but have dealt with many other salvage places & can only make a suggestion: call them up, get the full name of the person you are talking to, tell that person EXACTLY what you want & the CONDITION you need it in, have them physically look at the part & confirm they have it & the condition it is in, then agree on a price. Then when you go to get it, look it over from bottom to top & side to side & if it is a casting or ? look for cracks. ~If you get there & they don't have it, it isn't as agreed upon or they fed you a line of B.S. tell EVERYBODY you know, post it here, tell it at all the shows you attend & NEVER go there again.

clooney, well said!!!!! !, wish everyone would do this and some of these people will get the message that this should be a buyers world, not not have to be treated like a low life when you are trying to buy something!
most of us are doing this for fun ,because we like to work on the old tractors, but the people who go in the bussines to sell us the parts should get the message loud and clear that the only reason they went into a bussines is because WE will buy the parts, but WE CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. thanks
