I know a guy here in oklahoma that has a F'20 farmall with a v-8 out of an old packard. He brings it to the antique pulls sometimes just to play around. Pretty unique I guess.

We have a fella here in central Ohio who makes a kit..... His "A" has a 350 Olds V-8 Diesel in it, and he claims it will pull 5-14" plows....!! he drives it in parades...it still uses the original Hand Clutch..... Looks good--a real Mind-Bender...!!

How does the V8 sit in the tractor? Does the crank shaft line up with the tractor? How did he connect the engine to the transimssion?

The engine sits facing forward...he replaces the Crankshaft with a machined shaft that has a ring gear on it...the engine turns the pinion shaft... It uses the original John Deere clutch.... he runs it in several parades around here.... Ostrander, Ohio.. Delaware Ohio... With the diesel, he doesent have to have any governor... Looks Great, with 4 exhausts on each side.!! Motor is right back, Bellhousing against the John Deere crankcase...

I wonder what he uses to handle the thrust on the crankshaft with the pinion gear?

Where in Central Ohio can I see this beast in a parade? I live between Columbus and Lancaster.

He had it in the 4th of July Parade in Ostrandor, Ohio the last 3 years... It was at the Delaware County fair--last year. It was in the lot by the Jr Fair building, with all the other old tractors and hit and Miss engines.. The thing DOES Blow your Mind..!!!!
