I was changing the point's, condinser, rotor button, distribiter cap and now I can't get the tractor to fire....I have fire to the distribiter, but may have the point's and condinser wired wrong. Any help how the P&C should be wired? Thanks Ronnie...

There are several different distributors on the 1010, make sure you bought the right parts.

Ron, the low side of coil primary (opposite one that gets power from battry/ignition switch) goes to the points via the lil insulated side terminal on teh distributor. From there, current goes through the points (when closed) to case ground. The condensor hooks to same place the points are wired and is in parallell with them to case ground. To fire the coil, you need power to its high side, and continuity to ground thru the points, and then when they open she fires. The high voltage arc then gets routed to the plugs via the rotor button and cap and plug wires/ Ol John T in Indiana
