I just put new mains in my A and adjusted them to the proper adjustment. I put it all back together and cant move the flywheel by hand. The starter turns it over(bairly) and it will start and run perfect, but why is it so tight??? I mean, me and my dad cant even budge the flywheel!!!

You better take it back down and loosen them up or it will gaull bad and then you got real problems . I rather be too loose than too tite .

Joe, how did you adjust the mains? Those 2 cylinder crankshaft journals wear egg shaped & if the bearing clearance is set at the loose place in the rotation they will be way too tight at the tight point. The same applies to the rod bearings.

Joe, what do you mean by "adjusted them", adjusted them to what?
~If you run it that tight you risk burning the new bearings do to lack of oil clearance.
