around here a 1010 in running shape will bring about $3800. to me thats good resale value. the only small tractor in the same resale group would be IH 140's that often sell for $4000 to $6000 depending on equipment offered with it. i don't really know why they sell so high, except they make good large garden tractors.

They were junk - Not particularily rare

Whether a 1010 Row Crop is "junk" or not is subjective, but these were built only in 1964-65, and had all of the improvements---not bad tractors at all. As for "not particularly rare", I guess it depends on how you define "rare". In two years of production, only 1492 gasoline and 273 diesel 1010 Row Crops were built. Add to that the fact that these tractors had interchaneable front ends, including a wide front end and single front wheel, and the numbers get smaller. Next time, before you offer such an obviously uninformed opinion, you might want to do a little research first!
