How do you replace the screens in the grill? (this is for a 46 B) it looks like they are attached with some type of weld, ???

They are spot-welded, but don't fear. JD didn't use much of a weld. I got mine off by sliding an old screwdriver between the screen and the grill up against the weld, and giving it a wack with a hammer. The welds pop loose without damaging the grill. Try it with light wacks and work up until the weld breaks. You obviously don't want to hurt the sheetmetal grill.

I just tacked them back with a mig welder.

A spot welder works best,check with a local auto body shop, the next best is a mig welder. I don't think you want to brass weld them, this causes too much warpage to the grill sheet metal. RLA
