I had a '52 JD M that was stuck, I had bought it for parts. I pulled the block after trying the "rock it in gear" trick, which didn't work. I tried everything. WD-40, AeroKroil, Marvel Mystery Oil, PB Blaster, but in the end, ATF is what broke mine free. I've heard about brake fluid, Coke, Vinegar, Breakfree, TriFlow, air pressure with the head back on, even packing the cylinder with grease and applying pressure. I tried any suggestion given to break those pistons loose. The bottom line is this, it took a long time to set up and it will take a long time to loosen. Mine soaked with different solutions for 2 years before it let go. Hope your luck is better. There is a product out called ProLube, and another called Corrosion X. Both are good penetrators. I spray rusted up items with Prolube at night and the following night, I have no trouble breaking loose stuck items. It foams when applied, so it does run away like many other penetrating oils.

I literally chained a locust fence post to the flywheel on a stuck 42 A and applied some pressure on the end and it freed right up. Good luck. Bob

Try using apple cider vinegar, it has worked for me in the past.

I am not foolin'. A week or so ago we had a MM G1000 stuck tighter than lava to a rock. Tried penetrating oil, hot water drip, 36" pipe wrench with snipe and lots of elbow grease, nothing worked. Then someone comes along and says "pour coca-cola (not pepsi) classic in to cylinders. Did and left overnight, next day she spun. I have since stopped drinking the stuff. Thought to send thank you letter to Coke. So if your banging away with a 4 x 4 then you should try this remedy first, maybe save a spot and mix up a toddy while you wait.

I know this sounds crazy but a friend of mine uses water to brake down rust and it has work

Just pull the block out, undo the rod caps and then pull the block with the pistons still in. After you do that put the block in a press and press the piston out. Good luck

Like GPower said.. just pull the block.. if no press, get a the 4x4 and sledge... (soak it standing up. ATF works too) if you still have the rods connected you are fighting move than just the one pistons, and lots other stuff is stuck too.. cam gears.. especially where it meshs with the drive for the oil pump...
