I'm looking for information as to the value of a 1972 110 John Deere lawn tractor. This mower features a ten horse Kohler engine and includes a 48" three blade mower deck that is three years old. The engine burns a little oil, but runs and cuts great. Garage kept. Serviced regularly. Tires are five years old and in good condition. I've recently moved and no longer need the tractor. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The way I understand it...the models prior to 1968 are the ones collectors want. (the ones with the round fenders and pan seat.) I just bought a 1985 model 214 with a 14 horse Kohler in about the same condition as yours except it don't burn oil and runs and mows good, needs paint and grille and headlight cover. I paid $500 for it.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep that in mind. The 110 that I have is in excellent condition. Paint is great, tires are good and nothing needs replaced. If I were to keep the mower and overhaul the engine, it would probably last another thirty years. Thanks again.
